Bryce is a 25-year veteran of marketing communications and is one of Asia’s pioneers in non-traditional advertising, including digital, data and social marketing, digital transformation, loyalty and CRM, retail and brand activation.
Fluent in Mandarin, Whitwam’s China career has included senior positions at Ogilvy, Lowe, Nielsen, and most recently, CEO at MRM//McCann China.
He was the China CEO of WPP’s Wunderman for 11 years, building a 400-person business from a small team of 28. Currently Whitwam is an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at the NYU School of Professional Studies in Shanghai.
He is also the Co-Founder of The M Gym, a specialized, China-based marketing training company. Whitwam has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management & a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies & Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
